MK-350HC Hot/Cold Plate Analgesia Meter has been developed for both conventional Hot Plate tests and Cold Pain test.
When a rat is placed on the hot plate kept at a given temperature, it starts to show, depending upon the preset temperature, the responses such as
When the desired response is recognized, step on the pedal switch or press the START-STOP switch and the response time will be displayed on the LCD.
Using the Data Collection Software (Windows Version) the data obtained can be exported to a personal computer and saved as a CSV file.
Temperature can be set from 2 to 80°C by 0.5°C steps.
Operation is very simple.
